Refurbished Kids’ Bikes

We offer free refurbished children's bicycles (age 12 & under, 24 inch wheels or smaller) for families who need them.

We ask that families only replace bikes that no longer fit their growing child. Both the child and their parent or guardian must be present to receive a bike.

We rely on both financial donations and donations of bikes to keep this program running. If your family is in a position to contribute, we strongly encourage you to make a donation to support this initiative. By donating, you help families who may not otherwise be able to afford bicycles for their children.

Please note that our inventory changes daily and depends entirely on the bikes donated to us, the repair needs of those bikes, and the time needed for our staff and volunteers to refurbish them. Bikes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and we cannot guarantee when a particular size will be available. Due to the high volume of bikes we process and our limited storage capacity, we are unable to hold or reserve bikes.

When families receive a bike from our shop, they pledge not to resell the bike and to return the bike to Community Bikes when it is no longer needed.

If your child has outgrown their bike, please donate it to Community Bikes so that another child can experience the joy of riding!
